Allow mapped names in Directories to bring the viewer directly to that person's profile when clicked on.

When you create a Directory (for example our Authors List or our Alum Spotlight section) and map a user, currently that information, if displayed, is not clickable. We would like mapped names in Directories to bring the viewer directly to that person's profile when clicked on.
The scenario is that I am an alum in the Authors list for example, and I've just seen a book that look interesting by another alum listed. Would love to reach out to that person. If I click on that person's name, I should be taken to their profile, assuming I match the criteria for viewing the profile of course. Then if that person has claimed their profile, I can interact with them through the messaging button for example, or see more information on them, vs having to search for them in the directory etc etc. Just make it easier for alums to connect with one another instead of keeping these "modules' separate.

Thank you for posting, Elizabeth Babb ’82! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on the criteria for viewing a profile? Are there any restrictions or permissions that should be considered?
- What kind of information would you like to see when you click on a person's name in the directory? Are there any specific details that should be highlighted?
- How do you envision the interaction between users once they've accessed another user's profile? Are there any specific features you'd like to see in this interaction?

Ginu - 1. The same restrictions that are set up for viewing a profile directly from Spaces would make sense to me, but there is no reason to not make it flexible.
- You should simply be taken to their profile page assuming you meet the criteria for viewing, just like when you click a @tagged profile in a public Spaces area
- No. That's on the user. Viewing and then if they want to message them, they can do so through the platform.
