Better accuracy in usage reports

We've had a number of reports that were emailed to admins as quarterly "business reports" that have been obviously wrong. In one report, every metric was the same number. In a second report, the tally of updates (email, address, phone, etc.) didn't add up correctly and was more than 2x higher than the actual math.

One thing that I would love to see added to the Quarterly report - and I've only received one since we are new client, is information on "unique" users. It would be wonderful to be able to know if engagement is growing among alums in various areas, not just the same alums. For example, you indicate in the broad engagement activities that "messages sent" are part of the engagement #. It would interesting to know if 300 users sent messages or 3.
I feel like I need to create my own dashboard of metrics that we want to watch, which is fine, but not sure where to "store" it (my own google sheet?) and how to find each stat again on, say, a monthly basis. Will be talking to my Success Mgr further on this.

Elizabeth Babb ’82: That is very useful inputs. Actually we are thinking of providing better reports on engagement increase with unique users in mind. We don't have exact metrics ready but we want to enrich our quarterly business report to add more value to it.

When you say tally did not add up correctly, are you saying total number is 2X higher than total of first 5 rows? If that is the case, Total also considers other data updates that we do not show on first 5 rows. First 5 rows show most critical data points only.
Also would you please forward me report where all the metrics were same @ kanhai@almabase.com so I can look into it?
