General Feature Requests

It would be great to have the option to change the overall background in the crowdfunding and competitive fundraising pages. More design features overall are needed to make the pages look more modern.

We would like the ability to customize the text on the 'Book Spot' button when choosing an Event Ticket. This would be specific to a particular event page, not globally across all events.

Currently, event registrants are required to manually enter their Class Year during registration to display it on the attendee list. This creates redundant data entry for alumni whose information already exists within our database. To streamline this process, we request a feature that automatically pulls and displays Class Year data directly from the attendee's Almabase record. This integration will rely on mapping the registration to the correct profile. For registrants who auto-map, the Class Year should display automatically on the attendee list. For profiles that remain unmapped, the Class Year should be pulled and updated once the registration is manually mapped to the correct Almabase record.

For the Forms, can we have a printer-friendly version added? Our team uses the forms for things like Alumni Awards and are asking for a lot of information about the nominees. Right now, it is difficult to review the submissions because of all of the information people share. If we could get a printer-friendly version, it would help us better serve our constituents and review the information.

There should be an additional administrative role that allows users to create, edit, delete, and publish giving pages without providing access to gift management functions such as viewing gifts, map/unmap, or syncing gifts, import, etc. These responsibilities represent two distinct operational areas, and combining them creates unnecessary risk and potential process issues by requiring content creators to have access beyond what is needed for their role. Based on our experience, this level of role segmentation and permission flexibility has not been a problem in other platforms.

It would be so useful to be able to embed surveys inside emails. That way, people wouldn't have to open the survey in a new window to complete it. This would increase survey participation. We would love to be able to embed a one-question survey in our monthly alumni newsletter.

Quarterly recurring gifts was a very popular selection in our previous system. Please consider adding it as a frequency in addition to monthly and yearly.

It would be helpful to be able to select which emails to automate when the attached screen populates. We have an approval process for event communications and it would be helpful for knowing which communications have been approved for sending and which have not. With the current system, it's all or nothing.

Right now, the primary guest’s name (along with email, affiliation, and phone) isn’t editable on an event registration, and the system doesn’t default to Preferred Name / Nickname in places like event guest lists, Guest Manager, and giving leaderboards. -Default all name displays to Preferred Name / Nickname (with formal name still stored as the underlying record). -Allow admins to edit the primary guest’s name on an existing registration. Use case: “J. Thomas Woelper P’26” should display as “Tom Woelper P’26” across all name displays.
