General Feature Requests

Allow donors to be able to make multiple gifts in one checkout. Then once the gift feeds into NXT batch they come over as true individual gifts. As of now if a donor gives 3 dollars to 3 separate funds, it feeds to NXT batch as one gift split among those 3 different funds. Which is problematic for most reporting in RE/NXT.

EMAIL CATEGORIES - Unsubscribe from Category Can you include the date the person unsubscribed from the category on the download list. Make it so we don't have to download the list from all of our 11 email categories. This needs to be one single spreadsheet that includes all the names, DATES, and categories for the unsubscribers.

We should be able to send tax deductible receipts for events is we choose to do so. We send receipts within a week of gifts being made, waiting until two days after an event is too long to wait.

Creating this request on behalf of The Shipley School. The team wants gifts made to a campaign page/a campaign under a campaign hub to be also counted towards a different campaign page (e.g., these gifts should be counted towards their Annual Giving page). The current system doesn't allow single gifts made under any page to be counted towards multiple other campaigns (e.g., Day of Giving page and Reunion Giving page, etc.). Not having it configured this way so far has caused them significant issues with accurate reporting and thermometer displays. They have had to manually log these gifts and count them towards a secondary campaign page outside of Almabase. Logging these gifts on the secondary campaigns/pages on Almabase manually will create duplicates (they want one gift counted towards two campaigns/pages). The team has asked if a field called "Secondary Campaign" can be created under gift dashboard>>edit gift>>attribution>>giving page. In the meantime, if we can suggest any alternative campaign structures till this is solved, the team would really appreciate the workaround. They don't want to solve this by having a single campaign page and having multiple campaign hubs.

Allow for tickets to be scheduled to close at a specific time on a specific date. For example, we are closely monitoring sales for a specific event. We'd have liked for ticket sales to have remained open until noon on November 11, 2024 without having to manually go in and close the registration. We also cannot back date the closing of the sale of tickets to 11/10/24 for tickets that have sold out. Entering maximum amount of tickets doesn't work in this particular case. So our preference would have been to back date the ending of ticket sales to yesterday and being able to close sales at a specific time on the scheduled day instead of end of day.

This will help different admins managing different types of giving campaigns in a more efficient manner, as compared to finding specific pages in an overall list. If we are able to use giving page tags to create a listing or directory of giving pages, different entities/departments will be able to share a separate listing page with their constituents allowing easy access to specific giving pages. Almabase allows to set up an events directory, but this could be helpful for giving pages as well.

It would be extremely helpful to see guests’ names in event notification emails. When we have a golf outing or any other Athletics event, we send our partners in that dept the notification email for their tracking purposes but they cannot see guests.

There are multiple questions we do not want to ask our alumni like the Diploma they pursued and also want to add some additional fields relevant to our school on the form. But these are not possible today.

We currently only use Almabase for Giving, Events, and Communications and don't have our users in the engagement platform. I'd like a way to send a link out to users so they can resubscribe/allow emails again without requiring it to be done manually by an admin.
