Ticket "Close sale on" at specific time of a specific day

Allow for tickets to be scheduled to close at a specific time on a specific date. For example, we are closely monitoring sales for a specific event. We'd have liked for ticket sales to have remained open until noon on November 11, 2024 without having to manually go in and close the registration. We also cannot back date the closing of the sale of tickets to 11/10/24 for tickets that have sold out. Entering maximum amount of tickets doesn't work in this particular case. So our preference would have been to back date the ending of ticket sales to yesterday and being able to close sales at a specific time on the scheduled day instead of end of day.

Great to hear your perspective, Cherie D. Burkheiser! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific events or scenarios would benefit most from the ability to schedule ticket sales to close at a specific time?
- Are there any other features related to ticket sales timing that would enhance your event management process?
- How frequently do you encounter the need to backdate the closing of ticket sales, and what are the typical reasons for this?

Ginu,
- For this particular event, we have a tight deadline to report back to the event venue on ticket count. However, it's a very popular event and the venue made some extra tickets available today (11/11). Our deadline to report back to them is within the next 24 hours. So the registration needs to close mid day today to allow for as many people to purchase the extra tickets as possible while still meeting our reporting deadline. Closing the event at end of day is not appropriate in this case, it needs to close before end of day, but still allow for some sales today. This means someone has to remember to go in and manually close the registration when we want it to end. Because the venue is able to provide more tickets if we need them, entering a limitation on number of tickets that can be sold doesn't work in this case either.
- None that we can think of at this time.
- As we have only been using AB a couple of months, I can't say how frequently we encounter this need. In this case, the reason for back dating is because we are trying to leave the registration open as long as possible, but want it to show as "Registration Closed" once we cannot take further registrations.
