Connectors set up on an individual event page or giving page are no longer supported. To set up a connector, use the settings that apply to all events or all giving pages.
What’s changed
You can no longer set up a connector for a specific event or giving page. The field-mapping table has been removed from the individual event and giving pages.
The connector you set up for all events or all giving pages now applies to every event and giving page, new and existing. This keeps behavior consistent from one event or gift to the next.
Where to set up connectors
  • Events:
    Go to
Tools > Events > Sync configuration and connectors
, then scroll down to Setup event connectors.
Event Connector
  • Giving:
    Go to
Tools > Giving > Gift connectors
and set up a connector for all giving pages.
Gift Connector
What stays the same
  • Custom forms added to individual event or giving pages still have their own connector rules, which you set up separately for each form.
  • The
Process form data for all guests/gifts
button stays where it is. Use it to push event and giving form data to constituent records after you change the connector rules.
  • The Data Inbox works as before, so reviewing and approving constituent changes is unchanged.
What you need to do
Nothing for ongoing events and giving pages. They automatically use the connector you set up for all events or giving pages. If you had different mappings on individual events or giving pages, review the settings above to make sure they cover your needs.
