You can now choose whether payment gateway charges are factored into your fundraising goal progress, giving you more accurate visibility into the actual funds raised for your cause.
What's changed:
A new toggle is available on Competitive and Crowdfunding giving pages that lets admins exclude payment gateway (PG) charges from the thermometer and goal calculations.
When enabled, only the net amount (after processing fees) counts toward your goal. So your progress bar reflects what truly goes to your organization.
How it works
- Navigate to your giving page settings and look for the Exclude Payment Gateway Charges toggle (previously the DCC button)
- When enabled Payment Gateway charges are subtracted from the thermometer and goal totals
- When disabled the full amount collected (including processing fees) is counted, as before
