You can now choose whether processing fees paid by donors should count toward your fundraising goals — giving you cleaner, more accurate goal tracking that aligns with true charitable intent.
What's new?
You'll now find an "Exclude Donor Covered Charges from Goal" setting on your GivingX page configuration. When enabled, only the donor's intended gift amount counts toward goals, while processing fees are excluded from calculations.

What can you expect?
This setting applies across all your fundraising activities:
Giving page total raised amounts reflect only charitable donations. Campaign hubs and participation challenges inherit the page setting automatically. Matching gift triggers work based on actual donation amounts, not processing fees. Clean separation between charitable gifts and administrative costs.
For example, if a donor gives $100 and covers a $3.50 processing fee, only the $100 will count toward your fundraising goal instead of the full $103.50.
Why this helps you
For organizations that need clean financial reporting — whether for compliance, grant documentation, or transparency — this eliminates the mismatch between donor intent and goal tracking. No more manual adjustments or workarounds to separate charitable donations from processing fees. Your goals now truly reflect the charitable impact you're making! 🎯
Check it out in your GivingX page settings, and let us know how this improves your goal tracking accuracy!
