You can now eliminate the tedious process of manually creating separate gift records for each split designation after syncing to Raiser's Edge. When enabled, gifts with multiple fund designations are automatically broken down into individual gift records during sync.
What's new?
You'll now find a "Sync Split Gifts as Individual Gifts" toggle in your Gift Settings tab.

When enabled, any gift with multiple fund designations gets automatically separated into distinct gift records, each with its own unique batch number and external ID on RE-NXT.
What can you expect?
Your Almabase experience remains exactly the same — gifts continue to display and function as they always have. The magic happens behind the scenes during the sync process. Instead of creating one split gift record in Raiser's Edge that you'd need to manually break apart later, the system now automatically creates separate individual gift records for each fund designation.
This means when you sync a $500 gift split between the Athletic Fund ($300) and Scholarship Fund ($200), Raiser's Edge will receive two distinct gift records instead of one split record, eliminating your manual post-sync work entirely.
Why this helps you
For teams dealing with Raiser's Edge reporting limitations on split gifts, this is a game-changer! No more manual gift batch creation or time-consuming workarounds. Your gift sync workflow becomes fully automated while maintaining complete accuracy and traceability. Perfect for organizations with complex fund structures or frequent multi-designation gifts! šŸŽÆ
