📊Now monitor text communication opt-out rates
We have added more transparency into how your text messages are performing - admins now have a clear view of what percentage of your text message recipients have globally unsubscribed from receiving texts, right where you manage your communications.
✅ What’s new?
We've added a visual indicator that shows the global opt-out rate for text messages — directly within your messaging interface. Currently it is only visible to admins with permission to send/receive texts. Here's how it works:
A color-coded percentage displays opt-out status:
🟢 Green: Less than 0.5%
🟠 Orange: 0.5% – 1.5%
🔴 Red: Greater than 1.5%
🔍 What to expect
This percentage reflects users who have already received a text message and then have opted out via:
- Profile updates
- Texting “Stop”
- Opting out during event registration
We calculate the global opt-out rate like this:
(Total users who’ve unsubscribed / Total unique users who’ve ever received a text) × 100
