Currently, saved filters are a combination of filters and columns. It would be less confusing to separate these two sets of customizations. Saved Filters does not make it clear that columns are also included in this. Having the option to save selected columns would be a great quality-of-life feature for admins. This is also consistent with other systems that people use.
