Create open community events & sub events which do not require registration but can be housed in the events calendar listing and the schedule of subevents included in larger events like reunions, families weekends, etc.

We currently support free tickets, i.e. tickets with $0 price. This enables users to register for an event/ sub-event free of cost. 
Just to clarify, do you want the open events to be just read only and not have any registration flow? 
Also do you want the sub-event(s) within those open events to have any registration flow associated with them?

Satyam Singh I think this has been resolved by the creation of "itinerary" events in 04. So I would say my request is resolved!
