Allow the option to filter for either 'Accompanying Guest" or "Main Registrant" on the "Guests" tab on an event

this will help on events where we have hundreds of registrants. we want to make sure that we do not miss anyone when trying to map and the only way to do that is to scroll through the list of everyone registered. For paid events we are only focusing on mapping and syncing the person who paid for the tickets to help with reconciliation with our finance department.

Hey Andrew Best, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how you currently map and sync the person who paid for the tickets with your finance department?
- What specific information do you need to see for 'Main Registrant' and 'Accompanying Guest' in the filter option?
- How would you like the filtered results to be displayed for easier reconciliation with your finance department?

Ginu,
- We currently are not staffed enough to take the time to map every accompanying guest and main registrant for every event that we currently have going on. Because of that we decided to focus our energy on mapping only the main registrants for each paid event. I pick an event to work on, go to the guests tab, then to the unmapped section at the bottom. I then have to scroll through the list looking for registrants that do not say "guest of" under their names and map those people. After all of those have been mapped I proceed with your sync process.
- All that I need is a filter that will remove all accompanying guests from the list of all registrants. this would make it easier for me to make sure I did not miss anyone, and would save me a lot of time not having to scroll through a list of 150+ registrants checking for main registrants.
- all we need is the filter to exist, that would solve my problem. once I get everyone mapped, everything after that is a smooth process. I am just wasting a lot of time having to scroll through a massive list of people.

Thanks Andrew, that helps.
You could try using the 'guest dashboard' to map just the main registrant.
On 'Guest Dashboard' you can add a filter 'Is Host' as Yes, and Unmapped as 'Yes' to straight to the list and map from there.
Does that work?

That is a work around, but it is still inconvenient and I would rather have the ability to do this within the event itself. if it is possible on the guest dashboard then I don't see why it cant be added to the event page as well

Andrew Best I understand. Thank you for sharing.
I will recommend using 'Guest Dashboard' for actions related to data mapping because it is designed to manage a lot of additional workflows as well.
