Ability to hide the number of attending guests

It's nice to have the option to hide who's coming to an event, but it would also be nice to have the option to hide the number of guests attending an event.
An example use case for this is when we are hosting an excluding, high end event. The first few people to sign up see that only 5 or 10 people have signed up. This can lead them to believe not many people are coming, even if they sign up early.

The flexibility to use this feature would be great, with the ability to hide who is attending and hide the number of guests as optional on an event-by-event basis. Also having the flexibility to do that mid-way through registrations as your numbers increase. Thanks for considering.

I agree that the option to hide number attendees is beneficial. As stated by others, guests can be intimidated to sign up by lack of number attending an event. The flexibility to turn this feature on and off is positive.

John, I agree! Reservations some time come in the last two weeks before the event date. Showing the event count is either a deterrent to registration or sends the message that registrants should be concerned that an event is not popular.

We currently have showing registered guests turned off for all events since there is no way for people to opt out of having their name show up on the list and that is against our policies. We would prefer the option of not showing the number of people signed up for an event especially for our Harkness event. The event has numerous dates with a capacity of 20 at each event but if we have 60 people sign up that might be confusing for people since they will think the event is already at capacity when it in fact might not be.
