Giving days can be a great way for customers to make a difference, but it's important that they are properly prepared to avoid any mistakes.
We propose sending automated reminders to customers 2 weeks before giving day to test their giving pages and notify admins during publishing, 2 hours before closing and after completion to improve coordination and setup.

An automated email that will be sent a specified number of days prior to the giving day. This email will serve as a reminder for the admin to ensure that all necessary settings are in place for a successful giving campaign.
The email will perform the following checks:
- Verify that a payment gateway has been added to the page
- Confirm that at least one online gift is associated with the payment account linked to the page
- Verify that a description has been added to the page
- Confirm that a goal has been set for the page
- Check for leaderboard settings and ensure that all fields required for leaderboard are enabled on the pre-payment forms. For example, if the leaderboard is set up for the state, but the city is a hidden field from the pre-payment form, the email will inform the admin.
In addition to the above checks, the email will also confirm the settings of the page and provide the following information:
- Whether the page will accept only one-time gifts or both one-time and recurring gifts
- A preview of the thank you email
- The minimum donation required for both one-time and recurring gifts
This automated email system aims to ensure that all necessary settings are in place for a successful giving campaign, and serves as a reminder for the admin to review and confirm the settings before the giving day.
