When guests change their registration - add a ticket, guest, or gift, the payment data on Raiser's Edge is removed and recreated. Can we not do that? It is important from the financial reporting perspective that the gift stays as is on RE once committed. Only admins can change it from RE if needed.
The same goes for canceled registration as well. Do not remove the payment from RE for canceled guests. We want to confirm with the guest if they want a refund or want to change the payment to a donation.
