Immediate tax deductible receipts for events

We should be able to send tax deductible receipts for events is we choose to do so. We send receipts within a week of gifts being made, waiting until two days after an event is too long to wait.

Could you please clarify the current process of sending tax deductible receipts? How is it done manually?
What is the ideal timeframe in which you would like the tax deductible receipts to be sent after an event?
Are there any specific details or information that need to be included in these immediate tax deductible receipts?

Could you please clarify the current process of sending tax deductible receipts? How is it done manually? Within a week of the gift being made. We do this manually (paper) not manually using Almabase. 
What is the ideal timeframe in which you would like the tax deductible receipts to be sent after an event? Immediately after registration. 
Are there any specific details or information that need to be included in these immediate tax deductible receipts? The tax receipt template would be fine to use as long as we have the ability to tweak the language as we see fit. We would like to send the tax receipt immediately as we do for our giving pages.
