Mass Email Sender Name

It would helpful to change the sender name to a person's nickname or preferred name rather than their formal name, so alumni and donors recognize the name of the person they are receiving the email from. For example, we recently sent out a Softball appeal from the head coach, Allie, but her first name is listed as Alexandra on her record so that's what donors saw when they received the email.

Hey Abby Bjerke, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you need to change the sender name to a nickname or preferred name?
- Are there any specific rules or guidelines for using nicknames in your communications?
- Would you like the option to set a default nickname for future emails?

Ginu Before Almabase we used a platform called iContact. On the platform they had a "Sender Properties" page where you can enter the "Sender Property Name", "From Name", and the "From Email Address." See screenshot attached. This would be helpful, because sometimes I want to send something from my email address, but have the name displayed as Edgewood College so when a person receives the email it shows in their inbox before they click on the email as Edgewood College. Nicknames are important when we send appeal emails from Athletics coaches. We want to be to use the name people are familiar with rather than their formal first name
