There are many of our guests who go by a preferred name instead of their first name. Often, this is a middle name, but sometimes it's just a completely different name. This becomes a headache when mapping these guests. It first requires the admin to know the individual and that they go by a nickname. Otherwise, there is no way for the one mapping to know that the guest does have a profile, just under their real first name not nickname. It then requires looking them up in Raisers Edge to find their actual first name, then coming back to map them in Almabase. This is a long process, especially when mapping dozens of guests with multiple having different first names. The search bar in Raisers Edge NXT allows searching for middle or preferred names, and this would be incredibly helpful in the Almabase guest mapping search bar.
