Access to the User Directory is controlled by Affiliations specified by clients via the Access Center (https://[your-URL]/access-center). However, the system is designed so that even if a user has an accepted affiliation (ex: Alumni), they will be blocked from accessing the directory if they also have another affiliation (ex: Student or Employee) that is not accepted.

Our Situation: We want the User Directory to be locked down to Alumni, so we excluded all affiliations other than Alumni. However, we have many users who are Alumni (graduated with an Associate or Bachelor), and Students (seeking higher degree of Bachelor or Master)...as well as others who are also Employees (staff). These users are being blocked from the User Directory but we want them to have access because they are Alumni.

Proposed Solution #1 (Preferred):

Change User Directory access from being controlled by the Access Center to Verification Groups/Badges. This would allow clients a wider variety of control over which users can access the User Directory. It would also align with how access is granted to other directories (ex: alumni-owned businesses, etc.).

Proposed Solution #2:
