Use Preferred Name / Nickname as the default display name everywhere (events, leaderboards, exports) and allow editing the primary guest name on registrations.

Right now, the primary guest’s name (along with email, affiliation, and phone) isn’t editable on an event registration, and the system doesn’t default to Preferred Name / Nickname in places like event guest lists, Guest Manager, and giving leaderboards.
-Default all name displays to Preferred Name / Nickname (with formal name still stored as the underlying record).
-Allow admins to edit the primary guest’s name on an existing registration.
Use case: “J. Thomas Woelper P’26” should display as “Tom Woelper P’26” across all name displays.
