Add "Search All Funds" and "Other" functions for Giving Forms that are using Fund Categories

For organizations with larger numbers of active funds, there is a distinct need to categorize funds while also needing to give our donor base the option to search funds that are not housed within a certain fund category. Currently, these functions are only available if the form is using a fund list, but when you are an organization with over 120 funds highlighted in an active giving form and over 1600 active funds that a donor can give to, there is a real need to provide those search options in forms utilizing fund categories.

Great to hear your perspective, Justin Parks! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific criteria should be used to categorize the funds for the search function?
- How do you envision the 'Other' function working in terms of user interaction and fund selection?
- Are there any specific examples of fund categories that should be prioritized for the search function?

Ginu, thank you for reaching out. Responses are below. I have also included a screenshot of what we are hoping to see to provide our constituents the best possible donor experience.
- Really, what my organization is looking for is the ability to have all three fund options that are available in Giving Forms under "Fund Display" --> "Fund List" which are (1) "Allow Donors to gift to multiple funds", (2) Would you like the donor to select from other funds", and (3) "donor can enter their own fund name" - to ALSO be available if the giving form (whether it is a challenge, checkout, or crowdfunding page) utilizes the "Fund Catalog" option.
- The "other" option (in the giving page creation under "fund list" it is written as "donor can enter their own fund name") is really a way that our donors who contribute to obscure funds (oftentimes they may be the only donor) can type in their own version of the fund name if they do not remember what the actual name is. This greatly contributes to a positive donor experience for our organization and its donors.
- I think that I was using the term categories in place of the way you have it written in the form builder - which is "fund catalog". Basically, it boils down to our need to give constituents the ability to search from our full catalog of funds REGARDLESS of whether or not the giving form "Fund Display" uses the Fund List or Fund Catalog format.
