General Feature Requests

Ability to add/override the venue menu in events listing. Often, we use a venue that isn't listed with Google, and the event listing will not save unless we choose something from that menu. The ability to add to those listings would be a great addition and advantage.

Currently, we can add filters in the Data Studio for Emails and Email Status. However, we are not able to filter by the other related email fields of Email Type, Is Verified, Is Engaged, or Is Primary. Our current need is to filter by Email Type because we have constituents signing up in the platform without selecting an Email Type. If we could filter to find them, then we can fix them regularly rather than whenever we come across them. Although I haven't brainstormed the other fields yet, I'm sure there are other scenarios in which we/others may have a need/desire to filter by them.

It would be helpful to see the deceased members at a glance within the data studio. The leaf icon, along with the icons that already show various statuses, would seem to be a natural extension.

A lot of the text in Almabase is written in British/Indian English (not sure which). Since this product is offered in the US, it would be helpful if the base text for American clients were offered in US/American English instead of a different dialect. Examples include: Periods outside of quotation marks ie: Thank you for your following response to '{{form_entry.form.title}}'. In American English, this should be Thank you for your following response to "{{form_entry.form.title}}." {Please note that typical American English also does double quotation marks instead of a single one in these instances as well) The use of the word "post" instead of "mail." The use of "course" instead of "major" (there is a request in just about this issue as well: https://almabase.canny.io/digital-engagement/p/option-to-change-course-to-major-for-us ) Many tools already exist that can distinguish between different dialects of English. The one I'm familiar with is Grammarly. One pass through a tool like this would localize Almabase enough that any other grammar/usage things that fell through the cracks would be easier to update and less frequent. An editor/writer would also be a valuable investment.
