Currently, if an alumna/us signs up via the Sign-up flow, they are unlisted from the Directory by default. Some users (especially older ones) don't necessarily realize that they need to opt-in under these circumstances. It would be helpful to default to having them included in the directory instead, as I believe that most people who go to the trouble of signing up, etc., would prefer to be able to be found by classmates.
